Op zondag 1 juni van 12.00 tot 14.00 uur verandert het Forum in Groningen in een concertzaal! Het Bataafs en fanfare Euphonia-Triton uit Warffum komen met een muzikaal programma voor jong en oud naar de stad.
Om 12.00 uur trapt Euphonia-Triton onder leiding van Thirza Fekkes af met een feestelijk programma, met onder andere muziek uit Harry Potter, Europapa en Pirates of the Caribbean.
Om 12.45 uur start het Bataafs onder leiding van Arne Visser met een medley van muziek uit Frozen. Direct daarna volgt het muzikale sprookje van Mowgli, die in de jungle werd opgevoed door wolven. De verteller neemt je mee op reis de jungle in met een reuze spannend verhaal, waarbij het orkest de jungle en de dieren écht tot leven brengt.
Rond 13.45 uur wacht het publiek nog een verrassing: Bataafs en Euphonia-Triton vormen samen een nóg groter orkest en zorgen voor een lekker swingende afsluiting van het concert.

On Sunday 1 June from 12:00 to 14:00, the Forum in Groningen will be transformed into a concert hall. Bataafs and fanfare Euphonia-Triton from Warffum will come to the city with a musical programme for young and old.
At 12:00 pm, Euphonia-Triton, conducted by Thirza Fekkes, will kick off with a festive programme, including music from Harry Potter, Europapa and Pirates of the Caribbean.
At 12:45 pm, Bataafs orchestra, conducted by Arne Visser, will start with a medley of music from Frozen, immediately followed by the musical story of Mowgli, who was raised in the jungle by wolves. The narrator will take you on a journey into the jungle with this exciting story, while the orchestra brings the jungle and animals to life.
At around 1.45 pm, the audience will be treated to another surprise: Bataafs and Euphonia-Triton will form one, large orchestra and provide a swinging ending of this concert.
